Chosen Solution Hello - Okay, weird one here.. I fix iPhones frequently for people (40+) and havent ran into this as of yet. After replacing a cracked screen, the front camera is not working if the flex digitizer, lcd, camera shield plate is installed. If you remove it, reseat the front camera cable it works fine. Tried two different front cameras!! WEIRD! Thanks for your input… It sounds like something is grounding out somewhere....

Chosen Solution I have an old asus k55n which originaly had a US layout keyboard. I had to replace it because i damaged two keys but i was only able to get a replacement with a german layout. However the replacement barely works. The “R” key works but that’s about it. Half the keys are swapped(e.g. “esc” and “f7” are swapped) and the other half doesent work at all. This is the case even in the bios so it must be a hardware problem....

Do you know where the battery temperature sensor is located? Do you know if the battery temperature can be overwritten in order to allow the charging? Thank you in advance! Chosen Solution Planned to replace my ipod’s screen since the touch digitizer wasnt working and it had cracked so i figured i should replace the battery also since i was having to charge it almost every night. ipod touch 2nd gen 8gb, not jailbroken, a referb, not too old. TL;DR(as its a bit long), soldered in a replacement battery, charged up perfectly fine once, normal lifespan… but now that it has died it wont take a charge....

Chosen Solution opened box and turned on the speaker. as soon as I press the bluetooth button, the lightshow button starts blinking and speaker will not connect in bluetooth screen on my phone. thought it was defective so I went to exchange it, but then the seller got it working the same way that I was trying to do it. listened to music on the speaker on the way home, but before i made it home, the light show, and the lightshow button started blinking....

New iMac and it has bad stage lighting, an always dimmed display and when you try to adjust the brightness the first half makes it really dark and then brightens until you get half way then stays dimmed and does nothing when you go all the way up. Help! I strongly recommend you get your system into Apple to get it serviced under warranty ASAP! Given the COVID-19 shutdown you’ll need to call Apple support to log your problem so when the Apple Stores open you can get your system serviced....

Chosen Solution I have a portable 24" GE dishwasher that has died. The price of the new portables are ridiculous, but a new under counter (model GSD2100VWW) is fairly cheap! Is it possible to install the under counter into the portable cabinet? The current drives are stock - the HD is an Intel ICH8-M AHCI; the optical is a Matshita UJ-875 (ATAPI interface). To get the best speed from the new SSD, I am thinking of replacing the HD with the SSD, and then (if possible) moving the HD to the current optical drive bay....

Hello Ruduan Of course, by applying the Grayscale command, you usually get a black and white image on the screen(RGB Mode) and 8 bits(In each of the 4 color channels in CMYK mode) so when printing(even with Grayscale command in CMYK mode), the printer still uses 4 colors to produce it....

Chosen Solution I’ve just started delving into fixing my own devices, and one thing I noticed almost right away is that reassembly is a lot harder than disassembly, especially with small or fiddly things like the insides of phones or other tiny devices. For instance, I just did some work inside an oculus rift that went all the way to taking the motherboard out, and the hardest part was getting all the pieces to line up properly again during reassembly to make sure I could reattach everything without breaking something....

Chosen Solution I replaced the cracked screen on my iphone 6S plus A1634 model. Now Siri can only hear me if I push the home button. The “hey Siri” is not responding, it can’t hear me unless the home button has been pushed first. The settings are set with the proper check marks. It says it recognizes me. I did a hard restart and that is when I did get the phone to recognize my voice....
